The Barrington Lions Club Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Barrington community through charitable initiatives and educational opportunities. We provide annual need-based scholarships to Barrington High School students, support vision health by collecting and recycling eyeglasses, and offer free vision screenings in partnership with the Lions Club of Illinois Foundation. Our mission also includes advocating for and supporting the blind, deaf, impoverished, aged, and other need-based groups within our community.

Lion Tim Dunn Memorial Scholarship at Barrington High School
The Lion Tim Dunn Memorial Scholarship at Barrington High School awards $2,000 per year for up to 4 years to a deserving BHS student and honors former Lion Coach, Tim Dunn, who dutifully and generously served our community.
The scholarship has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship funds to selected students.

In partnership with the Lions of Illinois Foundation, the Barrington Lions Club provides free vision and hearing screening to Barrington area residents.

Eyeglasses Recycling and Redistribution
In partnership with the Lions of Illinois Foundation, the Barrington Lions Club collects used eyeglasses and hearing aids to be recycled and redistributed around the world to those most in need.
